He has used meditation to help him and his and his clients understand and transform anxiety. Addictions are habits, and habits can be changed.

The Mangere-based Ara Education Charitable Trust is inviting volunteers to share skills and knowledge on a one-off, or an ongoing, basis. Retired tradespeople could help by working with the students, says John Vazey, senior health, safety and wellbeing business partner at Auckland Airport.
Students are working on a number of projects, including the Forever House, transforming it from a derelict house into a sustainable low-cost home to be returned to the community. Volunteers will work alongside AECT tutors and the students in classroom and hands-on projects.
