Parrs Park Walking Path

Megan from Glen Eden

Those of us who live in West Auckland are so fortunate to have an amazing multi functional facility available to us. ‘There is a long standing issue with the walking paths though, as they remain flooded with filthy, stagnant water for days and weeks following rain. The path with midges and insects is unpassable as the surrounding grass is a bog at these times. The council do a wonderful job and the park is beautiful, but the drainage in at least three areas needs to be fixed, so that full use can be made of our park.
I’ll contact the council, but it has frequently been brought to their attention, if what I’m told is correct

Poll: Should you ask before planting tall shrubs/trees near your property line?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

It may be fine now but in a few years trees can block out light or views for neighbours.

Do you think neighbours should ask before they go ahead and plant these?
