The Auckland Hope Concert aims to bring hope and inspiration to the local community through the power of music. As we all know, the COVID-19 epidemic has caused a lot of trouble, pain, anxiety, and fear around the world. Many people have suffered trauma and are struggling in darkness and confusion. To help people get out of the shadow of the pandemic and regain confidence and hope, Good News Mission has specially invited the world-class Gracias Choir to come to Auckland, New Zealand to hold the "Hope" concert.
The Gracias Choir, founded in 2000 by Rev. Park Ok-soo, the founder of Good News Mission, has won many world-class music awards, including first prizes and grand prizes at international choral festivals in Switzerland, Italy, Germany, and other countries. They hold hundreds of gospel concerts around the world every year, conveying the love and grace of the Lord Jesus and bringing joy and happiness to countless people. This issue we look at some of the worthwhile volunteer roles retirees are filling in our communities, learn about mindfulness at any age, and check out some Kiwi beach travel options while the good weather lasts.
Don’t forget to try out our nostalgia quiz - it’s for anyone who wants to test the Kiwi knowledge they’ve picked up over the past four, five, six or more decades.
