Students call for Government's response to Covid-19 to be green
An Auckland School Strike 4 Climate leader says the coronavirus pandemic is a "once in a lifetime opportunity" for action against climate change. The group has penned a letter to the Government urging it to prioritise green solutions in its response to Covid-19. Avondale College student Coco Green-Lovatt, who is one of the leaders of the campaign, says the way New Zealanders has united and made sacrifices to fight coronavirus gives her hope for similar action against climate change.
