There will be a selection of Auckland’s best street food along with Christmas market stalls inside the main hall, Te Atatu repair café and plant swap. Save the date at www.facebook.com....
December 1st - 4:30pm to 8:30pm – Te Atatu South Community Centre.
The food trucks on the night will be:
- Those Guys J & M - Philly cheese steak rolls, burgers, fries and irresistible cookies.
- The Flying Rib - Specialising in succulent ribs, wings and other things.
- Mama Yoya's - Everyone's favourite authentic Mexican cuisine queen.
- Hungry Swine – Epic Chargrilled Pork Belly sandwiches
- The Langos Lady- Hungarian Fried Bread with sweet and savoury toppings
- Cajun Mobile Kitchen – Cajun popcorn chicken, sliders and waffle burgers.
- Cream Ice Cream – Delicious real fruit ice cream
- Coffee and iced, hot chocolate
On the entertainment menu there will be local NZ Got Talent winner Renee Maurice singing some Christmas songs and others, free ReCreators Christmas woodwork workshop and free facepainting. The 249 Edmonton road art gallery will also be open to pop in to.
Come grab some tasty food and soak up the community vibes. Plenty of seating available or picnic in the park. Parking available on site and the grass field behind the St Johns hall. Walking or cycling up makes it even easier.
A great way to spend a Friday night.

- On Tuesday 28 and Wednesday 29 November, Curran Street northbound on-ramp and Stafford Road northbound off-ramp will be closed as part of the closure.
- SH16/SH18 Western Ring Route has been shared as being the best alternative route at this time.

Just let you all know that like the last few years I am having my Xmas light show again. Hopefully the weather will be better this year. The show again will be an hour long Sunday to Thursday and onr and a half hours Friday and Saturday nights.
The show will start at 9pm - sorry kids, it's not dark enough until then.
For those that haven't seen the show, I take a music track and program lights to the music.So just a drive by is not a good idea as you need to see the lights and hear the music at the same time.
The address is 28 Harrington Road, Henderson.
Show time is from Friday December 1st, 9pm.
The last night of the show will be December 31st.

Both are in good condition, the big one has a VERY nice sound and I'm considering keeping it if it doesn't sell by Xmas, and I would have expected the small one to have less volume but I was surprised that it holds its own quite nicely. Price is for both guitars together. Ideal combo if you want to get with your kid (and yourself) into playing an instrument - and music really binds people together. Pickup in Green Bay (we live opposite Green Bay High School), or if you are outside Auckland then maybe a friend of yours in Auckland can do the pickup.
