I wonder how all the mandatory hospital hygiene, no visitors under lockdown, masks etc would be undermined by an act like this.

Following the announcement on Tuesday night, the Northern Regional Health Co-ordination Centre recorded over 7800 Covid-19 tests on Wednesday, beating the previous record of 6407 tests on June 23.
Anyone experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms should seek to get a free Covid-19 test at their local general practice, urgent care clinic or one of Auckland's 15 community testing centres.
