Join The PumpHouse Community Choir
This year, The PumpHouse’s annual Christmas Carols in the Amphitheatre will feature North Shore Chorale and our fledgling PumpHouse Community Choir.
As the name suggests, the community choir will be made up of locals - that’s you. If the last time you sang in a choir was at school and you fancy another go at it, or if you’re a secret shower singer and would like to share your unappreciated gift with the world then get in touch with us.
Absolutely anyone is welcome to join. You don’t need a trained voice. Our choir leader, Charlotte Nicklin will help you stay in tune. All you need to do is to come to rehearsals for a couple of weeks and be available to sing with the choir on December 18th.

LOVELY CARER NEEDED😄 Possibly suited to student nurse/retired nurse
For my lovely 89yo mum. Mostly mornings 2-3 days per week. 8am - 12pm. Making her breakfast, mid morning snack & lunch. Light cooking & cleaning duties. Washing dishes, cleaning bathroom, keeping her room & lounge tidy. 😄No showering as she has home help doing that. Suited to someone who is quietly spoken, good SOH, & loves caring for the elderly. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
