The tracks through Rosecamp Road Foreshore Reserve to Charcoal Bay in Beach Haven are currently closed due to trees being across the tracks. I don't have an ETA for when they will be cleared, but will update this post when I have that.

I pray for peace throughout our homes. That there would be a sense of joy, as families and friends meet together during the Christmas season and that they would experience hope for 2023. - Josh

When the average full-time working parent gets 9 weeks less of holidays than kids, managing childcare during school holidays can be challenging to say the least. That’s when our programme at Little Shoal Bay comes in handy.
We offer 100% Nature holiday programmes all around Tamaki Makurau, where kids get the opportunity and freedom to take ownership of their play outside all day long! To make things even better, this year we’ll be running programmes from December all the way through to February when school starts.
Located in the beautiful Little Shoal Bay Reserve we are surrounded by fantastic nature, the coastline, massive fields and bush area to play in, the creek and Le Roys Bush which is filled with nature walks. Perfectly located on the North Shore it is super close to the highway and on the way for your city commutes.

This could mean the closure or commercialisation of 10 Kauri Kids centres, including at Glenfield, Birkdale and Beach Haven.
Paula Gillon, Danielle Grant, Adrian Tyler, Dr Janet Tupou and I rushed to the meeting after a lengthy Kaipātiki Local Board meeting responding to the Mayor's many budget cuts, where we OPPOSED the Mayor's proposal on Kauri Kids and requested that the decision is put out to public consultation instead of being decided by Council staff, which is what is currently proposed.
Councillors will make a decision on Thursday 15 December on whether to allow council staff to proceed, put it out for consultation, or reject the proposal.

Track #1 from Glenfield Road (close to the roundabout) has now been reopened.
Track #2 is almost ready and will hopefully be open by the end of the week.
The tracks had been closed for a few weeks for repairs and drainage work following damage from wet weather in August.
