Frontline Doctors - A Winter Migrant Crisis

Ole from Takanini

From the frontline of one of the world’s biggest humanitarian disasters, doctors Chris and Xand van Tulleken reveal the crisis of migrants in Europe fleeing war and terror in their home lands.

Travelling from Syria to Calais the doctors explain the many risks refugees face: poisoning from the plastic they burn to keep warm, the rampant disease in overcrowded camps and the dangerous sea journeys to reach the promise of safety in the West. This is the heartbreaking human tragedy behind the headlines - from the devastating lows of suffering and loss to the inspiring highs of human courage and kindness. (PGR)
