Hi Neighbours, I saw a collie playing in the water at Orakei Basin, it was soooooo happy and I thought, that dog isn’t worried about the future, or what is on its “to-do list.”
What freedom to be released from the constant round of thoughts about what might happen, or what did happen. Dogs live in the present moment mostly. Humans are generally happiest when they do so too. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
