For too long, Mt Wellington has not received its fair share of attention. There’s urgent need for quality community amenities, a co-ordinated approach to housing, and investment in infrastructure that caters for significant growth and high density development.
I’m hosting a Mt Wellington Masterplan Have Your Say Meeting, with special guest Chris Wilkinson from First Retail, that will give you the opportunity to share your thoughts on safety, community facilities, housing and transport connections around the community- all are welcome!

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
