Hi Neighbours,
Just a heads up that due to an Auckland City Council project around the artificial pitch at Michaels Ave - there is an issue with access for the public. At the moment both west and east footpaths are closed so residents trying to get from Michaels Ave Wetlands area to the YMCA/lower fields area will struggle.
Until the access issue has been resolved we recommend using the main entry at Michaels Ave by the playground or if you have to you can walk across the pitch to get from one side to the other.
Council have been made aware of the issue and are working with the contractors to solve the access problem ASAP.

Auckland Harbour Bridge summer works

NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi is carrying out essential maintenance on the Auckland Harbour Bridge this December and January. The southbound clip-on lanes will be closed (24/7) from 26 December to 5 January for road resurfacing. Night-time lane restrictions will be in place throughout the summer for recoating work on the bridge. Traffic will still be able to travel in both directions at all times. Find out more
