Harbour bridge incident
A police incident is causing delays on Auckland Harbour Bridge on Wednesday afternoon.
What you need to know:
- The two left northbound lanes (lane 1 & 2 of 4) are blocked on the Harbour Bridge.
- Traffic is backed up to Newmarket heading north on both the Northern and Southern motorways.
- Auckland Transport have advised that bus routes 82, 866, 923, 931, 933, 939, 95B, 95C, 966 97B, 97R, NX1, NX2 have been delayed.
- NZTA is asking commuters to merge with care and expect delays.
- Google Maps is showing a delay of 39 minutes.

East Auckland athletes set for recognition
Sporting talents on and off the field in East Auckland are set to be celebrated at the Howick Sports Awards on Thursday 29 August 2024 at the Pakuranga United Rugby Club.
