COVID L2-UPDATE we will be open to see clients from Monday morning, with some conditions.

Owner and Principal Physiotherapist from Active + Milford Physiotherapy

From Monday, it’s almost business as usual but as we’ll be operating at Level 2, there are a few key changes:

We ask you not to come in if you are sick or showing any symptoms such as cough, sore throat or fever

Increased cleaning of surfaces between clients

Single use or no linen used on beds

Further spacing out of clients and appointments which means less mingling in the waiting room

Our usual level of hygiene for all physio staff including hand washing between each client

PPE will be worn only if appropriate

We ask clients to sanitise or wash their hands wherever possible upon arrival and prior to departure from the clinic

Please book appointments in advance so we are ready for you

Please note, staff schedules may have changed a little to allow for social distancing. If you have trouble finding a time to suit with your physio, please give us a call

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?

Poll: As a customer, what do you think about automation?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Press investigates the growing reliance on your unpaid labour.

Automation (or the “unpaid shift”) is often described as efficient ... but it tends to benefit employers more than consumers.

We want to know: What do you think about automation?
Are you for, or against?
