Volunteers Needed
Bucklands Beach Yacht club is looking for Volunteers to help with Have a Go Sailing for the schools. This is a very rewarding volunteer position and any help you can give will be really appreciated. Volunteers will help the coaches with set up and pack up and during the session in the safety boats whilst helping the kids have a go at sailing in our fleet of optimists. The First session starts next Monday from 8am to 12.30pm and times and days varies with tide. If your available to help even if it's just for one or two days this will be fantastic. Q&A: Animal Welfare with SPCA's Dr Corey Regnerus-Kell
We're back with a Neighbourly Q&A session. This time with Dr Corey Regnerus-Kell who is a qualified veterinarian and SPCA’s General Manager Animal Services.
A little bit about Corey:
Corey has an interest in veterinary medicine, animal welfare, and biosecurity. He shares his home with ostriches, guinea pigs, bees, a rescue tortoiseshell named Lynk, a ragdoll named Oscar, two mini foxies called Chester and Maya and a black Labrador named Bonnie.
