Begonia Show
The Auckland Begonia Circle is to hold their annual "Begonia Festival" In the Manurewa Botanic Gardens on the 11th and 12th of February . This promises to be an amazing event and flower lovers will be stunned by the quality and colours of the flowers and plants that will be on display from 10 AM til 4 PM . There will be enthusiasts there to give advice and the entry is completely free with plants for sale both days. You will have to buy with cash however as we have no eftpos machine available . This will be held in the Logan Campbell building and there will be lots of signage to direct you there easily.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
