Become a Companion Shopper

Lindsay Upton from Manukau East Council of Social Services (MECOSS)

Are you looking for a volunteer position that will allow you to give back to your community?

The Manukau East Shopping Shuttle is seeking a Companion Shopper to accompany elderly passengers on alternate weeks to Pakuranga Plaza or Botany Town Centre.
Being a Companion Shopper is an opportunity to do more than a job, it’s a chance to do some real good for people, who no longer drive or don’t have family support to help them shop for grocery items.
A Companion Shopper with the Manukau East Shopping Shuttle will suit a one-of-a-kind individual with a history of community involvement and, most of all a big heart!

If you’re interested in becoming a Shopping Companion, please contact lindsay.upton@mecoss.org.nz
