Manukau East Shopping Shuttle

Lindsay Upton from Manukau East Council of Social Services (MECOSS)

The number of senior citizens who find it hard to shop for themselves is on the rise.
MECOSS and Auckland Council have responded to this need by providing a subsidised shopping shuttle to Botany Town Centre or Pakuranga Plaza. Volunteers are on duty to run this Thursday-only, door-to-door pickup and return service. A charge of $10.00 includes the return trip, 2 hours of uninterrupted shopping and a free cup of tea or coffee.
If assistance is required, book a companion shopper or mobility equipment.
Please call 0800 632 677 by Monday to make a reservation for Thursday.
