Anyone with access to a camera, including phone cameras, has the opportunity to take part in the festival with the Nikon Auckland Photo Day competition. Just take a photo at any time on June 8 that showcases your slice of Auckland. The photo can be anything you want, including snaps of friends and family. All entries will be stored in a unique archive that currently has over 15,000 photos dating back to 2004. An exhibition of last year's top 30 entries is on display at the waterfront of Te Wero Island.

Hi Neighbours. Described as a talented tag football player with a ready smile, Xavier Browne, 19, was struck by a car outside a house party in Half Moon Bay on July 7, 2018. His death has now been referred to the coroner.

I have a small deck and the wood is aged, we need to replace some wooden planks. My husband has got tennis elbow so cannot do the work on his own. Please can we have a helping hand to assist fix or rebuild the deck....Thanks in advance.
