Next Sunday 8 November Auckland Museum is hosting a free panel discussion with members of Auckland's Indian community, as they explore the prejudice and pressures, as well as the joys, of their unique identity. Panellists for the evening of kōrero include Sarah Dutt, Rohan Adarkar, Kartika Singh, Karishma Kumar and Vinod Suresh.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)

Twilight Lawn Bowls at Homai Bowling Club
Every Wednesday on the 13th, 20th and 27th November. From 5pm for a 6pm start. Play for one hour. Designed for beginners and bowlers alike. Any combination triples. All teams will have at least one non bowler. All new bowlers will be placed in a team with a club bowler so you will get all the help and coaching you will need. Bowls are provided for those who need them. Please wear flat soled shoes to protect the greens. The bar is open for refreshments and a social atmosphere is encouraged. $30 per team. $10 for a single entry. EFTPOS is available. Prizes are given at the end of the evening.
