Long waits for cars after airport valet parking 'balls up'
About 30 people arriving at Auckland Airport from international flights were left stranded at the valet kiosk around 1.45am on Monday while staff took more than an hour to deliver people their cars. One woman described the situation as chaotic, saying "there didn't appear to be a very good system". An Auckland Airport spokesman said staff sickness and delayed flights arriving in short succession were to blame for the delays, and that affected passengers would be given a refund. This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
