Beach Haven Coastal Connection Update

John Gillon from

The extension of the concrete path to the lookout area is now open :)️ This is part of the Stage 1 of track improvements to Shepherds Park and will make it a lot easier for prams, bikes and wheelchairs to reach the new lookout platform that will be constructed in Stage 2.
The rest of the Stage 1 tracks are still being worked on, but due to COVID-related delays, are now expected to be completed by the end of June.
Meanwhile there has also been a delay to the start of Stage 2 which was due to begin in June, but is now likley to be starting in September. Stage 2 consists of a step-free route around Hellyers Creek Reserve, including three new bridges and the lookout platform.
