Hilder's Park and Larking's Landing Reserve
Much of the work at Hilder's Park and Larking's Landing Reserve is now open and looking great. New paths, stairs, furniture and lookout. I'm pleased that the plaque for Mr Hilder was able to be relocated from the turning circle to a more prominent location as part of the project.
Frank's Boat is almost complete and will be officially opened in a few weeks.
Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
