roll out chat at the library
Well I went along to the roll out chat for the food waste, it was a case of Blah Blah the green bins will be provided between now and sometime in July how about a refund !! all my waste gets composted in the garden, no refund you will get a bin. Fair enough on the lady she was not from the council it was just a Job. Only food waste can be put in the bin but my rabbit eats Grass so therefore it is a food waste, how about the left over grass from your spilolina! or your now dead basil plant! cannot be put in the bin.
Can anyone say if the apartment blocks in Takapuna each resident get a bin ?
Okay you say this will save so much waste going to landfill while our food scraps will be transported to Reparoa 276 Kms away.
The council still have not worked out away to dispose of Restaurant waste that still goes to landfill and all those disposable coffee cups they still go to landfill!!

Heartbeats Cardiac Support Group Meets at Sunnynook on Thursday
Heartbeats, cardiac support and heart services charitable trust, has its next monthly meeting of the Sunnynook group on Thursday 26th February at Sunnynook Community Centre.

TIME: 7:00 - 8:00pm in the meeting room on the north side of the building, entrance from outside.
