COVID - 19 Alert Level Three Update

Owner and Principal Physiotherapist from Active + Milford Physiotherapy

As you will know by now, the Government has announced that Auckland has moved back into Covid-19 Alert Level 3.

What does this mean for Active+ Milford Physiotherapy?

Our clinic is currently closed and we will be conducting appointments via our online Teleheath service. If you have an appointment booked in the next 3 days, please stay at home and do not come to the clinic for your appointment. If you have not already heard from us, we'll be in touch to let you know the next steps.

If you would like to make a Teleheath appointment, please contact our clinic as usual on 0800 749 946.

We do not yet know how long we will remain in Alert Level 3 but we will continue to keep in touch with anyone who has an appointment booked and monitor all communciation from the government.

It is likely that when we do reopen, it will be under Level 2 conditions and we will keep you updated on what this involves.

We look forward to reopening our doors as soon as possible and please don't hesitate to get in touch with any queries.

Kia Kaha,

Ashley and the team at Active+ Milford

Help Needed: Peat, Straw, and Moisture Control for Tiger Worms in Castor Bay

Diana from Castor Bay

Hello, neighbors! I’m in Castor Bay and currently caring for my tiger worms. I’ve encountered some moisture issues and am looking for materials like peat, straw, or anything that can help with moisture absorption. I’d also appreciate any advice on preventing clogging in the drainage pipe to ensure proper drainage. If anyone has extra peat, straw, or can share some helpful tips, I’d be really grateful! Thank you so much for your support, especially during the holiday season
Best wishes,
Diana
