Caltex Meadowlands Petrol High Price $2.68l
Those of us in Somerville / Howick area appear to be
Being taken advantage of by our local Caltex Meadowland Drive/Whitford Road. For some time leading yo to the Auckland Fuel Tax being removed they were 10/11cents per Litre higher than most local outlets comparing similar reward prices. They still remain 10/11 cents more per litre.
This morning just an example $267.9 per litre. BP by K Mart $256.9 per litre. Even cheaper around Highbrook I noticed. I wrote to Caltex som3 weeks ago and received the reply “ it is just local competition”.
My advice - Do not use Caltex Meadowlands until the message gets through that we are not lazy local idiots to be taken advantage of.

This Wednesday, we are having another Neighbourly Q&A session. This time with John Bracewell from Crewcut.

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
