Aged-Care Community Networking Meeting & Te Tiriti o Waitangi and our organisations workshop.

Next Tuesday’s first Aged-Care Community Networking Meeting for 2021 is quickly approaching, but it's not too late to book a speaking spot.
We also have places available to attend the Te Tiriti o Waitangi and our organisations workshop on Wednesday evening.

Event Details:-

AGED CARE COMMUNITY NETWORKING MEETING:
This event has been organised to provide information and networking opportunities for people and organisations who interact and work within our aged-care community.
Come along to connect with others, share accreditation experiences, get help, be inspired by other like-minded people and organisations and promote the work that you do!
Venue: Te Tuhi, 13 Reeves Road, Pakuranga
Day & Date: Tuesday, 23 March 2021
Time: 1:30pm - 3:00pm

TE TIRITI O WAITANGI AND OUR ORGANISATIONS WORKSHOP:
Learn how to practically apply Te Tiriti in your leadership and work.
About the Facilitator:
For ten years, Hilary Star Foged was a member of the NZ and Pacific teaching team for the Unitec programme. She holds a Certificate of Adult Education and a Post-graduate Diploma in Educational Leadership and Management. Hilary facilitates workshops, provides coaching for leaders in the not for profit sector, and is an integral part of the training and leadership courses LEAD offers around the country. She is an experienced and skilled facilitator of Te Tiriti Workshops, exploring with participants both the significance and history of The Treaty of Waitangi, and how to apply its intention and principles in their organisations, as well as how to build relationships and accountability in partnership with Maori.
Venue: Te Tuhi, 13 Reeves Road, Pakuranga, Auckland

Time: 6:00pm - 8:00pm

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
