Dance Yourself Happy

Lindsay Upton from Manukau East Council of Social Services (MECOSS)

Nothing beats that post-work-out glow! Last night over 30 people of all ages, showed up to our FREE 'Dance Yourself Happy' session to work up a sweat and release endorphins. We moved our bodies to classic hits, electro, rock and rick-rolling. The rest of the hour went down like this and afterwards we felt oh-so-good;
1. Into The Groove / Madonna (1984)
2. Don’t Stop the Music / Rihanna (2008)
3. Last train to Trancentral / The KLF (1992)
4. No Holding Back (Extended Mix) / Hardwell feat. Craig David (2016)
5. Bailando Por El Mundo / Juan Magan, Pitbull & El Cata (2012)
6. Stop the Rock / Apollo 440 (1999)
7. Sledgehammer / Peter Gabriel (1986)
8. Never Gonna Give You Up / Rick Astley (1987)
9. Never Gonna Give You Up (KaktuZ Remix) / Rick Astley (2018)
10. Life Is A Dancefloor / The Shapeshifters featuring Kimberly Davis (2019)
11. Desire (What I Want) [Groove Technicians Remix] / Todd Terry (1993/2018)
12. Highway The Hell / N.Y.C.C. (1998)
13. Sandstorm / Darude (2000)
14. Everybody Need Somebody (Album Version) / Blues Brothers (1980)
15. Stayin’ Alive (Remix) / Bee Gees (1975/2018)

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
