Green round beans, good quality & price, $10/kg, good quality bean seeds 50/$10 - Qiubo Su
Hi All,
(update at 29/01/2026 - 1) the green round beans are still available for sale at this season, its price is $10/kg, better quality and better price than that of the same category in the superstores. 2) Good quality bean seeds are also available for sale, its price is 50 seeds/$10, see the uploaded photos for the bean seeds. Please ignore the information in the below paragraph which isn't for now. Thanks and have a great new year 2026)
(update at the morning of 22/12/2025 - Even though my better quality beans are at a lot better price than those you can find in any supermarket, I realize that $NZ10/kg for my beans is still unaffordable by a lot of people. In this case, I'd like to keep them for myself to consume, with a better cooking method, e.g. spicy hot steam-pot. I make my own effort, do extensive research and innovate greatly to get such an excellent bean vegetable planting result, I can't give it any better price than $NZ10, and hope all of you understand. Wish you a Merry Xmas & Happy New Year !)
Good afternoon.
I harvested a lot of beans this morning and sorted 3+ kgs into a cardboard box (see the one photo taken today). If interested to buy, please come to 20 Regia Close, Half Moon Bay ASAP for the fresh beans.
I'm at home all day today.
Merry Xmas & Happy New Year !
Best regards,
Qiubo Su

(update at 01/07/2025 - yesterday morning I harvested a lot of vegetables from the front yard vegi planting area inside the garden of my property, see the photo taken yesterday)
(update at 24/06/2025 - I harvested a lot of vegetables yesterday from the front yard vegi planting area inside the garden of my property, slightly more than the amount I harvested 10 days ago. However the vegetables at the front yard vegi planting area don't look less, and the vegetables at the backyard area become more and more dense. See the photos taken yesterday)
(update at 14/06/2025 - today I harvested a lot of vegetables from the vegi planting area in the front yard of my property. It took me a couple of hours to harvest, clean, 1st wash with rain water harvested inside the large water tank, 2nd wash with the tap water in my kitchen, then cook them all with the method I was used to, see the attached photos. If any interested people come, you will notice the vegetables at the vegi planting area next to the front yard are becoming less and less, but the vegetables at the backyard vegi planting area are still growing densely. I have already started to cultivate vegi seedlings for the next round vegi planting at the front yard vegi planting area. A short while later, it is time to start to harvest the vegetables planted at the backyard of my property. Even though planting vegetables within a small section of the land, with proper planning, it is achievable to have enough vegetables supply all year round)
The vegetables of Asian Pak Choy growing in my garden are ready for harvesting sooner or later, see the photos among those I took on the morning of 11th June. Last vegi planting season, there were people among you coming to purchase the vegetables I growed in my garden after I published a post here. Now I'm publishing a post here again.
When any interested people come, please tell me the best price you can get from the popular big branded supermarkets, I will give you 2/3 of the price for the same variety of vegetables listed on the same day. Please bring your own bag, schedule about 30 mins when you're here, let's harvest together, briefly wash off the soil sticky on the vegetables dug out, and weigh it afterwards.
For example, if the best price for the same varieties of vegetables listed on the same day you can get from the popular big branded supermarkets is $12 for 3 kgs, I only charge you $8.
(Note: I'm a vegetables lover, able to consume large quantity of vegetables in a very short period of time with the hot spicy steam-boat cooking method, but considering that there are people out there love vegetables as well and are interested in saving money, I couldn't bear to let myself alone to "waste" the results of my hard work in growing vegetables, so I'd like to list it here for someone interested)

Time to Tickle Your Thinker 🧠
If a zookeeper had 100 pairs of animals in her zoo, and two pairs of babies are born for each one of the original animals, then (sadly) 23 animals don’t survive, how many animals do you have left in total?

Here's what you need to know before making an offer on a house
🏠 What is the neighbourhood like?
Familiarise yourself with the neighbourhood, to check accessibility to public transport, schools and shops. Visit the street at different times of day, to find out how quiet or noisy it gets. Check with the local council whether they know of any future developments in the area that could increase noise or traffic.
🏠 How much are the rates and insurance?
Do a property search on the local council’s website to see what the rates are.
You can also get quotes from insurers to find out what it might cost to insure it.
Check whether the homeowner is paying off the cost of installing insulation or heating units through their rates, because you will inherit that debt if you buy the house.
🏠 For a unit title, check the pre-contract disclosure
If the property is on a unit title development (for example, an apartment), ask to see the pre-contract disclosure. This is basic information about the unit and the unit title development.
🏠 Get a LIM (Land Information Memorandum) report
A LIM report tells you everything the local council knows about the land and the buildings, for example, what building consents and code compliance certificates they have issued for work done on the property.
🏠 Pre-purchase building inspection
Get an independent building inspector to examine the house thoroughly and look for potential problems with weather-tightness, wiring, plumbing or the foundations (piles).
Ask them to check for features that might make maintenance more difficult. For example, some types of wall claddings need specialist knowledge to maintain, access to the gutters might not be straightforward, and retaining walls can be expensive to repair.
🏠 Check the property title
Ask a lawyer or conveyancer to check the property title for things like easements. For example, an easement might allow a neighbour to access part of the property. The property title should also confirm the property boundary.
