Come down to Howick Historical Village for our Village Fête! Meet our costumed villagers and try your hand at traditional village fair games. See if you can win a prize! Enjoy the last of the summer sun in our beautiful gardens with a variety of activities throughout the event!
Learn to make a paper windmill and try out the old-fashioned craft we have available! See the coal range in Puhi Nui homestead fired up, blacksmiths at work at the forge, and attend a Victorian school lesson. The sweet shop will be open and filled with old-fashioned lollies, fudge, and treats. Bring a picnic or have lunch at the Homestead Café!
Admission: adult $18, student/senior $14, child $10, child under five, family pass $45, members & annual pass holders - free entry.
Get up close and personal with a vintage hand-crank sewing machine! In the beautiful Bell House built in 1852, expert Gracie Matthews will guide you through the process on her restored antique Singer sewing machines. Includes admission to the Live Day.
