As Anzac Day commemorations near two students prepare to honour East Auckland's ex-servicemen and women.
Amber Vodanovich, from Somerville Intermediate School, will recite a poem she wrote from the perspective of a military veteran and Howick College student Emily Bennett will talk about her family and the battle at Gallipoli.
