LGOIMA Request: Onewa Road Clearway

John Gillon from John Gillon - Kaipatiki Local Board

It has been 10 months since the public consultation on clearway options for Onewa Road, and 7 months since the results were scheduled to be made public. Apparently a consultant will be finalising findings and recommendations, but I think its important for us to see the actual results. We've waited long enough.
Attached is an Official Information request that I've submitted to Auckland Transport (CAS-451510-T5G3F6). I should have a response by 29 October.

Subject: LGOIMA: Onewa Road Clearway Consultation

To whom it may concern,
Please provide under the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA) all emails, memos, reports and any other applicable correspondence and documentation, dated from 1 November 2020 to present, relating to the results of the public consultation on options to change the clearway on Onewa Road that was undertaken from November-December 2020, including (but not limited to):

* the raw data results of the public consultation, including any feedback or commentary received through the consultation (the participants’ personal details are not required for this LGOIMA request),
* any existing charts, graphs or tabulations that have been produced in relation to the data (however, if these do not yet exist, I do not want this LGOIMA request to be delayed while they are created),
* reasons for the delay in making the results public (the public were advised that the results would be reported in March 2021),
* any estimated costings for the proposed changes, and details of any budget that has already been tagged to implementing the changes.

For reference, the Auckland Council webpage relating to the consultation is:
at.govt.nz...

The four options that were consulted on were:
* Option 1) Maintain the current parking arrangement on Onewa Road
Parking would still be available outside of peak hours when the T3 lanes aren’t operational.
* Option 2) Extend the Onewa Road clearway to all hours
No vehicles would be able to park on Onewa Road at any time.
* Option 3) Extend the clearway hours to run from 7am to 7pm on weekdays.
Vehicles would no longer be able to park on Onewa Road unless it’s after hours or during weekends.
* Option 4) Extend the clearway hours to run from 7am to 7pm everyday
Vehicles would no longer be able to park on Onewa Road unless it is after hours.

Thankyou

Cheers :)

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.

When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?

Builder: Small to Medium Jobs

Bruce from Whole 9 Yards

The below phots - start to finish 7 working days. widened the cupboards, rebuilt insitue, new tops, paint and splash back.

During this past month I have performed many repairs, small building and upgrading jobs in several homes on the North Shore, my area work base. I’m a Sole Charge operation, all discussion and quoting, project management and product purchase, then doing the work myself.
I have a fellow builder mate to help on some of my jobs, between us we have at least 90 years experience, not bad for 2 guys. I’ve been swinging a hammer for over 5o years and Mike 40 years.
I specialise in small jobs, all those little things that should be adjusted, repaired or replaced and you keep putting off, simply because you don’t know how or where to get your maintenance brought up to scratch.

Please realise it’s way more cost effective to keep up to date with your maintenance than leave it and find that the original problem has now helped wear out something else. Now you have more than one piece to be fixed and subsequently, you guessed it, the job will cost more.
I don’t charge for my first visit, yes, Free. We can discuss your maintenance job be it big or small.
Feel free to contact me.
