Kaipatiki Road/Easton Park Parade Pedestrian Crossing:
Work is currently underway to construct a raised pedestrian crossing across Kaipatiki Road at the entrance to the roundabout. A mid-block crossing is also being built at the Easton Park Parade entrance.
* A traffic detour is in place while the project is underway.
* Bus services 906, 939, 941: A detour will be in place. The bus stop at 31 Kaipatiki Road (3783) is closed. Please use 13 Kaipatiki Road (4101). See attached for more info.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
