Talk on Heart Disease and Treatment After Discharge from Hospital

Heartbeats, NZ's leading community-led, support organization for heart event survivors, families and whanau is sponsoring a public HeartTALK and presentation by Dr. Seif El-Jack, Cardiologist, Cardiology Institute and Waitemata Health District, at Sunnynook Community Centre this month.

WHEN: Thursday 28th August
TIME: 7:00pm to 8:00pm

This talk is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC and will be invaluable for heart patients or those who are needing to 'get on with their lives' and deal with their heart condition.

Dr El-Jack will be answering any questions from the attendees and there will be some very informative discussion on any questions raised.

Night-time chipsealing works on SH2

NZ Transport Agency (NZTA)

From 9 to 17 February, stop/go traffic management will be in place on SH2 between McPherson Road and Dimmock Road on multiple nights between 9pm and 5am (Sundays to Thursdays).

During the day, all lanes will be open, but speed restrictions will apply to allow the chipseal to set and to protect vehicles travelling over the newly laid surface.

There may be delays to your journey when travelling through the area. This is weather dependent so check NZTA Journey Planner before you travel.
