Sunnybrae Rd T2 cameras now active
The Sunnybrae Rd T2 cameras went live on 14 November and warning notices are being issued to anyone caught breaching the T2 rules. Fines will begin being issued from Monday 12 December.
These are the same camera design as on Onewa Road, with 4 cameras per pole, and are designed to monitor the number of people in each vehicle during the T2 period.
When are the T2 lanes active?
* Heading South (towards Northcote Rd): 6:30am to 10am, Monday to Friday.
* Heading North (towards Archers Rd): 4pm to 7pm, Monday to Friday.
What vehicles may use the T2 lanes?
Any vehicle carrying two or more people, including buses. Bicycles and motorbikes can also use the T2 lane.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
