Hurunui District Council's climate change stance criticised
A North Canterbury council has shown zero leadership when it comes to climate change, Extinction Rebellion Hurunui says.
Mayor Winton Dalley represented one of 23 local authorities around the country that did not sign the Local Government Leaders' Climate Change Declaration earlier this year, which has been agreed to by 55 other councils.
