Community effort behind installation of speed sign for North Canterbury township
A new speed sign in Amberley is already making a difference to the town's road safety, those behind the sign's installation say.
The speed indicating device, as it is officially known, is the second for Amberley and was put in on State Highway 1 at the southern end of the township last month. It follows the installation of another sign at the northern end of the town about 10 years ago.
