Whitebait Festival
This Saturday is the day to be in Westport as we showcase our town and amazing whitebait. Palmerston street will be closed in the afternoon with music, stall's and craft's along with PRs Cafe cooking their Legendary Whitebait Pies and Fritters. Well worth cruzing into town for the day, or weekend enjoying the Whitebait Ball Saturday night at Club Buller along with heaps of activities Westport has to offer. Come on, hit the road and head our way.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
