Waimakariri After Hours Services
Thank you to everyone that has acknowledged my post. I am 1 person; I invite you to email Duncan Webb MP info the Hon David Clark re the need for this Service. I am also aware that the CDHB are carrying out "Consultation" for After Hours Services @ Oxford and in the Hurunui. It would Advantageous for these services to Dove Tail with a 24 After Hours/ED in Rangiora. I am also aware that Waikariri Hospital is an under utilised Facility as well. Additionally I have started a petition on Change.Org which I invite you to sign as well.
Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
