Have you ever wanted to learn self-defence? Karate is one of the most popular martial arts and self defence systems in the world today.
Our beginner classes are a great introduction to karate training, and can put you on a path to continue to develop new skills, strengthen your mind and body, and empower yourself to reach your maximum potential in all areas of your life.
As a way of helping people try it out, GKR Karate North Canterbury is having Open Nights this week in Rangiora (Mon 5th) and Kaiapoi (Wed 7th and Fri 9th).
There is a special joining offer for those who decide to join after the class, including a FREE membership.
Beginners classes are starting in the Rangiora and Kaiapoi areas. Adults and children (5years+) welcome. Training fee is as little as $12 a class (family discounts apply).

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
