Amberley School's family fundraising challenge returns for a third year
Amberley School is once again calling families looking for a challenge to compete in its annual Amberley Rellie Challenge event.
The event is a mystery adventure race where an adult and child (in school years 0 to 8) race together against the clock and other teams. Participants must locate and complete 10 mystery challenges.
The event is now in its third year and has become an annual fundraiser for the North Canterbury school.
The 2020 Amberley Rellie Challenge will be held at the Amberley Domain on Sunday, September 20, from 10am to about 12pm. Entry costs $40 per team and registrations must be made by August 31 to guarantee a T-shirt. Registrations can be made online here.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
Do you think this ban is reasonable?
