THIS NOTICE IS TO INFORM / ADVISE THE PUBLIC THAT THE NEW MARKET TO BE HELD AT THE RANGIORA RACE COURSE IS IN NO WAY CONNECTED TO OR ASSOCIATED WITH THE ORIGINAL RANGIORA SUNDAY MARKET HELD IN THE BLAKE STREET CAR PARK EVERY 2 WEEKS. THE RANGIORA SUNDAY MARKET IS RUN BY THE NORTH CANTERBURY MODEL RAILWAY CLUB Inc. AS A BUILDING FUND RAISER. WE HAVE BEEN OPERATING NOW FOR 2 YEARS. WE ARE A COMMUNITY BASED ORGANISATION. Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Family Friendly Service and Discussion
