North Canterbury man Jason Moore says losing his daughter was hard enough, but losing his granddaughter at the same time "just rips your heart".
Moore and three of his children will lace up their boots this weekend to take part in an annual memorial rugby league match to remember his daughter and granddaughter killed in the 2011 Canterbury earthquake.
