Amberley School sets historical scenes with nostalgic fundraising calendar
The most wanted Christmas gift for residents of the Hurunui district this year is Amberley School's historic calendar.
The school worked with Kowai Archives to find a selection of historic scenes and buildings from Amberley's history to put into a calendar.
Principal Simon Green says the 15-month calendar, which runs to March 2020, has been selling like hot cakes. The first run has nearly sold out and a second run may be produced if there's enough demand.
