Amberley A&P show reflecting change as North Canterbury becomes a 'destination'
The organisers of the annual Amberley A&P show say more "young blood" is needed to help show North Canterbury is more of a destination than it used to be.
Thousands from across Canterbury attended the 117th Amberley A&P Show at Amberley Domain on Saturday, but the show committee is looking for new ways of getting people through the gates.
President Peter Greenwood said A&P shows across the country are struggling to get more young people involved.
"We have really good support from businesses and the community, we just need to attract some young blood."
