The Kiwi day at the beach. It's what our summer memories are made of. It's an easy and fun way to spend a day in the sun - but is it still cheap?

What do you get when you combine go-carts with the luge, and race down the side of a ski mountain? It's called mountain carting; and it's easily the most fun Brook Sabin has ever had.
This cool ride is at Cardrona - the South Island ski resort. Although most Kiwis head there during the winter ski season, in the warmer months it's a summer playground. Click here to read all about it. Have you given this a go?

The Role:
As a Holiday Manager, you are the face of Bachcare. You have a portfolio of holiday homes to manage whilst welcoming and greeting guests on arrival. You take pride in ensuring that each of your guests has an amazing holiday.
You will work closely with our Operations Team to resolve on the ground issues with the hope that our guest experience exceeds their expectations. There will also be the requirement to clean and prepare your holiday homes for guests arriving and departing.
We are looking for:
Someone who is truly fanatical about the guest experience and helping people find their happy place whilst on holiday. You must be a jack of all trades and are in your element when you have to roll your sleeves up and make things happen.
You love to turn up your music playlist nice and loud and get stuck into cleaning and setting up properties so that they are pristine for the arrival of your guests. You are super passionate about meeting people and love to make an exceptional first impression!
You are an absolute guru when it comes to organising and thrive in an environment where you have to multi-task 101 different things. You must have a can-do attitude and love being a part of a fun hard-working team.
If this sounds like you please send your cv through to team@bachcare.co.nz

My grandson managed to open the gate and walk onto the Woodend road, he is 18 months old, chaos reigned while we rushed out , many cars were around. Visiting friends and people from stopped cars helped us stop traffic and retrieve him safely. The car, parked outside 9 Woodend road was our friends car and we saw it then drive off with the rest of the traffic. It drove towards Rangiora. No one had keys to their cars so could not chase it. I will get back to you with number plate. Please also check buy and sell if you see Quad bike wheels for sale please let me know. Thanks

I thoroughly recommend Thai Aroma in Arlington - Rangiora for delicious food, large servings, and excellent service. I took my team from Motivation deSign for our Christmas function and we all walked out so full we could hardly move!

7 pm this evening at 39 Canterbury Street, Ashley.
The service will be lead by Paul Askin and our pianist will be Tony Gouedard. We expect to be finished by 8 pm and there is supper to follow. A couple of things to bear in mind are that we do not have a toilet so do 'go' before you come; and the grounds are very wet. Cars will be able to use the drive for drop off if necessary but all parking will be on the street today. Your donations received during the Collection will go towards the ongoing maintenance and restoration of our Category 2 Heritage Building.
