The PumpHouse Theatre is a great place to see performing arts in Takapuna. The theatre is administered by The North Shore Theatre Arts Trust and operates as a programmed venue for hire for the performing arts and other types of staged events. The theatre calendar offers diverse fare, ranging from plays, musicals, dance, traditional outdoor Summer Shakespeare, stand-up comedy and concerts to psychic mediums, book launches, seminars, workshops, poetry and play readings.
