We support and promote the performance and recording of new quality performing arts works, especially music. In early 2018, we staged the premiere performance of the unique opera, kapa haka and drama 'Flowing Water' by Witi Ihimaera and Janet Jennings. In late 2018 we arranged the free public concert and subsequent recording of an album of new music, titled 'Play-Pen', that featured on the NZ classical charts for several weeks. In November 2019 we held a free public concert and subsequent recording of an album of new songs, called Voices of Women, with a suffrage theme - the CD is now available at marbecks.co.nz. This year we are recording more new NZ high quality music for release early next year.
