We've performed in … View moreIt's NZ music month and we are fundraising to bring a very special concert to Hamilton. Celebrating NZ's wildlife and wild places, in the centenary year of iconic conservation organisation, Forest & Bird, this is an opportunity for a very special concert. We've performed in Auckland, Wanaka and Christchurch (photos from Wanaka) - let's get this to Hamilton. Featuring leading musicians and especially written music, it also features stunning imagery and lighting. Vocalists include Jayne Tankersley, Catrin Johnsson, Mere Boynton, Stephanie Acraman, Felicity Tomkins, James Ioelu, James Harrison and Will King. James Ioelu and James Harrison have returned to New Zealand after singing in the opera house of Europe and the UK.
Voices of Women features the words of NZ women as they tell of their struggles, experiences and humour. Voices of Men features the words of NZ men, and fittingly given it has just been released in time for ANZAC, includes 'Songs of War'.
To celebrate Mother's Day and the release of 'Voices of Men', the companion CD to 'Voices of Women', we are giving away a set of both CDs. The winner will be drawn on 8th May. You can enter at the link:

Covid may not have many silver linings, but this is definitely one of them! A former winner of the New Zealand Aria Competition and the New Zealand Young Performer of the Year, James is now based in the UK but has returned due to Covid. He trained at the Manhattan School of Music and attended the Merola Opera Program in San Francisco before joining the National Opera Studio in London. He has performed with many leading opera companies including the English National Opera, Glyndebourne Opera, Garsington Opera, Grimeborn Opera, and Birmingham Opera.
