The Forrest Hill Neighbourhood Society was formed with the primary purpose to advocate for and enforce the protective land covenant that prevents building intensification in Becroft Drive area of Forrest Hill, originally known as the Hillcroft Estate.
The covenant was put in place by the original developer to maintain the character and integrity of the neighbourhood, and is why our neighbourhood retains its unique character with only single-dwelling homes. The covenant is recorded on the certificate of Title for each property, and has protected the character of the neighbourhood for more than forty years.
